Independent pathology & diagnostics consultancy

Pathology insight. System impact.

Turning the complexity of diagnostic systems into clear, practical action — for NHS networks, industry, and system leaders.

The practice

My role isn't to parachute in with answers — it's to ask the right questions, bring clarity where complexity exists, and help leaders and services move forward with confidence.

For most of two decades I've worked at the centre of pathology and diagnostics — on the bench, across NHS trusts, and most recently leading national transformation at NHS England. The Pathology Catalyst brings that experience to networks, systems, and industry as independent, evidence-based advice.
